What's The Matter? Cat's Got Your...Name?

Alberto, John, Blake, Cathy, Norma, Oscar, Angelina, Pedro, Bailey, Ben, Jerry, Tom, Marky, Jake. If you're thinking that these are names of different people, you're right but do you know that they can be good pet names, too? You can even name your cat after you, right? How does that sound?

Gone are the days when you call your dog French poodle Fluffy or Fifi or you call your pet cat Snowbell or your parrot Polly. In the Philippines, they call their dogs Brownie (with brown fur), Blacky (with black fur) and Bantay, a Filipino word for "Guard".

Now, you can give your pet some cool names and even human names can sound awesome and amazing to a dog.  There was even this elderly woman who have dogs with some of American's great leaders' names: Thomas Jeff, Jimmy Cart, Ronald Reg and Richard Nick.  What creativity, what talent, what ability and what artistry.

Calling your pet with unique names sometimes can ring a bell of a better bonding and relationship between you and your pet. You sort of attach yourself to it more intimately with 100% loving tender care. Sometimes, you would even say, "How's my Walter feeling today? Would you like to let Mommy give you a nice big hug to make you feel okay?" Good dog, nice baby" and all that stuff. How's that sound? It's really heart-warming, right?

Even with horses, you can call them with the names that will best describe them.  One example given by a horse owner to his prized steed is a simple yet powerful name- Alberto. Alberto can be a very strong horse Spanish name. Sometimes, it also depends on the place of origin.  In North American, famous dog names are most likely Sam or Sammie, Max or Maxie, Brandy, Ginger or Taffy. In the movies, popular dogs have names such as Lassie, Rin Tin Tin, Otto and for cats, evil Siamese cats (which are really twins) on a cartoon movie are Si & Am, as in Siam and it go on pretty quickly for cat lovers who have Siamese cats.

In other parts of the world, they will sometimes call their cats depending on situations. One good example is there is a cat who was named Winter because he was born during that season or a dog named Chestnut who was born under a chestnut tree. Sometimes, naming your pet can really take out the creativity in you. Can you call your pet Train if it was born on it?  You find out but if you think you need a good resource to help you naming your pet, the best place to find names is on the Net.

For most people,sometimes, the names they choose for their beloved pet can say much about them as it does about their dog.  After all, pets don't choose their own names, right?  An owner can be described as sort of a "thief in the night" or something like that if he names his parrot "Jesse James".  A person who names is Border Collie, Sebastian, can also be a fast runner, fast runner for what, that you don't know and don't want to.

Seriously, depending on whether the animal is a pet, or a rescue dog or a therapy bird or cat,it is important that the name speaks for the pet's personality and again, good pet names can be found in one shot online.  Now, here's one more ice breaker for you. How would you feel if you discover yourself waking up in your neighbor's gorilla's cage and the name of that monkey is Charles Manson or Hannibal Lecter or Jigsaw?
